The Maizefield Guest House offers their guests a unique country setting. The Maize Field Guest House is situated on a working farm, just 30 minutes from Pretoria, off the N4 towards Witbank.

Maizefield Guest House is set in a unique country setting on a working farm and offers guests comfortable accommodation and is the ideal rest-over when travelling or for conference delegates and social getaways.

The guest house offers four spacious air-conditioned bedrooms furnished with double or single beds. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, but two rooms have a bath and a shower and the other two only have showers. Each room is equipped with a TV and a bar fridge and opens onto a private veranda with a braai area.

A central kitchenette and dining room facilities are also available giving guests the option of self-catering. The whole house can also be booked on request. Breakfast is served and dinners are also available on request.


When staying at Maizefield Guest House, our bird-lover guests can visit the Nan Hua Buddhist Temple which serves as the headquarters in Africa for the Guang Shan Order - Buddha’s Light Mountain Order - which is the largest monastery in Taiwan.

The Bronkhorstspruit Dam is popular amongst anglers and the Bronkhorstspruit Dam Nature Reserve will keep birders busy with the over 200 species of birds, in particular the pink-billed lark.
